DAKAEi Leadership
Mohamed Jourfi is the founder of DAKAEi and serves as the sole director of DAKAEi Technologies Ltd, the company registered in England and Wales that builds and operates the product. He founded DAKAEi in January 2023, at nineteen, and has led the company since.
As founder, Mohamed has overseen DAKAEi from its first release through to a hosted AI assistant that customers use in conversation, by voice, and on their own. Under his leadership the company shipped the agents people assemble for their work, a marketplace of skills, and Xyla, DAKAEi's voice assistant, which is published on the App Store. He was also instrumental in keeping those surfaces one product, so work started in a conversation can continue by voice.
Mohamed continues to lead DAKAEi's engineering and to build the product himself. That work has included the company's AI and machine learning, the development and fine-tuning of models, and the tools those models use. He started DAKAEi while still a student, and he has remained responsible for the product as it has grown. In May 2026 the business was incorporated in England and Wales as DAKAEi Technologies Ltd, with its registered office in Covent Garden, London.
From December 2024 to June 2025, Mohamed served as an AI software engineer at Robotum Bilişim in Ankara, a company that has taught robotics to schoolchildren and competition teams since 2015. He has developed and fine-tuned AI models for robotics software.
A Moroccan national, Mohamed lives in Paris. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer software engineering from OSTİM Technical University in Ankara, where he studied from 2021 to 2025.
